Summary:
The NACCRRA Data Services Help Desk staff presents a virtual training designed for CCR&R staff members that are using the Training Tracking component of the TTAM database. A separate option is available for staff who wants a preview demo of TTAM.
To participate in a NACCRRA Webinar, you will need an Internet connection, computer (including a sound card), speakers and microphone.

What you will learn
This two-part live training includes the following sessions:
Navigation Basics and Data Entry:
Learn how to navigate through the TTAM database. The session will review the critical data entry pieces needed to successfully document trainers, trainees, and training facilities in the TTAM database.
Trainings and Registration:
This session will cover creating training records, training sessions, and training registrations to document community training provided or facilitated by local CCR&R.
About the Facilitators:
Ruth Bowell has provided training and technical support for NACCRRAware and now NACCRRA Data Services since 2000. Prior to that, Ruth managed the parent referral department and was also responsible for the database maintenance and reports at a local CCR&R. She assisted her state with their development of statewide standardized configurations and has also consulted with several states as they’ve standardized their configurations.
Charlotte Pelz has worked in Child Care Resource & Referral for five years. Initially, she was the Parent Counselor at a local CCR&R where she managed the agency’s NACCRRAware database for referrals and reporting. As the Data Manager for a CCR&R State Network Office, Charlotte provided training and technical support for the local agencies. She now works for the NACCRRA Data Services Help Desk providing training and technical support.
Details:
Prerequisite: Participants must have access to their agency’s Training Tracking software prior to enrolling in this training. Administrative access is not required.
The training consists of two, 2-hour sessions. The sessions will occur from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
The technical requirements to participate in this NACCRRA Data Services training are an Internet connection, computer and telephone with long distance dialing capability. Access to a training database will be provided. An email confirmation with the details needed to join the training will be sent within one business day of registration.
Long distance charges may apply to participate in this training, depending on your long distance provider.
What you will receive
- Two 2-hour facilitated sessions
- Access to the facilitator for questions during and after the sessions
- Follow-up review questions, sample exercises and tip sheets that will help the user become a more effective and efficient TTAM user.
- Access to the training database for 30 days beyond the training date
